MaxT3 is a DVD workout program that's sold over 130,000+ copies worldwide. We helped them launch in the online world with a digital streaming version on desktop, tablet and mobile.

Behind the Scenes

MaxT3 has been around for years, helping over 130,000+ customers around the world to workout in under 12 minutes a day. The system guarantees maximum results in minimum time, so the outdated DVDs they were using to sell the series were starting to get in the way of efficiently delivery this quality content in an accessible manner.

We helped setup an online sales process via a custom payment gateway so that new customers could purchase the digital version of the product, where we converted the DVDs to streaming videos and housed them on a CDN for fast playback speeds with limited buffering. With a single one-time purchase, our client was worried that costs would exceed revenue if users were to stream significant volumes or share account access - so we developed and installed technology to monitor playback usage and flag accounts that may be violating those sharing terms and conditions, to help avoid excessive costs. We also integrated a custom activation code system so that DVD customers can enjoy all of the benefits of the digital version at no additional cost.

To date, MaxTV has streamed over 62,000+ workouts to customers worldwide - and has maintained an impressive 97% profit margin on it's streaming costs, despite being a sole one-time purchase instead of a recurring revenue model.
